About Helen

Helen is the creator of Insight Writing, weaving meditation, self-inquiry, and creative expression. Drawing from her background in documentary filmmaking, yoga, and meditation, she guides others to uncover their authentic creative voice through nature connection and body awareness. Her approach brings traditional teachings to life through gentle, heartfelt practices.

8pm ~ Welcome and introductions ~ Arriving, grounding, writing ourselves into the here and now

Day 2 Friday:

9am ~ Yoga
10-11am ~ Quiet writing time
11am ~ Brunch
2-4pm ~ Insight Writing workshop ~ How meditation supports us to enter the imaginal realm
6pm ~ Yoga
7 pm ~ Dinner
8pm ~ Campfire Stories ~ sharing our words and receiving reflections

Day 3 Saturday: 

9am ~ Yoga
10-11am ~ Quiet writing time
11am ~ Brunch
2-4pm ~ Meditative nature walk and write ~ shamanic inspirations for our writing practice
6pm ~ Yoga
7 pm ~ Dinner
8pm ~ Dreaming Together ~ How being more conscious of our dreams supports our writing practice

Day 4 Sunday:

9am ~ Yoga
10-11am ~ Dream mirroring and dream-inspired writing 
11 ~ Brunch
12-2pm ~ Cyanotype art session ~ create a piece of art using natural elements. Add your words and voilá ~ a gift to take home!
